Love a flow practice? Ever wonder why? What’s its secret to helping us feel so alive and blissful?
This workshop will pinpoint the value of vinyasa (flow). We’ll start with a short lecture on the anatomy of breath, why breath matters so much in yoga, and where vinyasa fits on the 8 limbed path. Michelle will then lead us in a rhythmic, invigorating flow practice using beat to help us really synchronize the movements of body and breath. With breath activated and mind quiet, we’ll end in meditation where we can truly witness the powerful benefits of a healthy body, open breath, and a quiet mind.
This workshop will appeal to anyone who wants a deeper understanding of their yoga practice. Experience with sun salutations is recommended.
